Having recently directed 'L2: Empuraan', one of Malayalam cinema's highest-grossing blockbusters, the award underscores his multifaceted contributions to the industry. In 2006, Prithviraj made history himself, becoming the youngest-ever recipient of the Best Actor award at the age of 24 for his performance in 'Vaasthavam', breaking Mohanlal's two-decade reign.
