Sanjay Dutt reveals shocking truth about Rs 72 crore property left to him by fan

Actor Sanjay Dutt has confirmed that a female fan had bequeathed property worth Rs 72 crore to him, but he chose to return it to her family.

Speaking to Curly Tales, Dutt was asked if it was true that a woman had left him such a large inheritance. “It is true,” he said. When asked what he did with it, the actor replied, “I gave it back to the family.”

The fan, identified as 62-year-old Nisha Patil, was a homemaker from Mumbai suffering from a terminal illness. Before her death in 2018, she instructed her bank to transfer her assets to the actor after her passing.

The story, which recently went viral on social media, had initially been dismissed as a rumor until Dutt confirmed it.

Sanjay Dutt, who made his debut with Rocky in 1981, has acted in several acclaimed films including Vidhaata, Naam, Saajan, Khal Nayak, Vaastav and Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. His career, however, was overshadowed by controversy after his arrest under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act for possessing illegal weapons linked to the 1993 Bombay blasts. He was convicted under the Arms Act and sentenced to five years in prison.

The incident echoes a similar story shared by Shah Rukh Khan, who once recounted how a fan entered his house Mannat at night, swam in his pool, and simply said he wanted to bathe there. Khan described the moment as “endearing and amusing”.
