Chandigarh: An explosion that took place in a two-storey firecracker manufacturing and packaging unit in Punjab's Sri Muktsar Sahib along the Singhawali-Kotli road resulted in the deaths of five migrant labourers and injured several others on Friday.
Jaspal Singh, Lambi’s Deputy Superintendent of Police told PTI that the blast injured at least 25 people, TNIE reported.
Several workers were trapped under the debris due to the force of the explosion which caused the building collapse.
