Woman sneaked into Salman Khan's has previous police record

Mumbai: The woman who was arrested for attempting to sneak inside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence has a previous police record, Mid Day reported.

A case was registered against the woman, identified as Isha Chhabra, at the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai. The case was over an incident of ruckus she created at the Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Andheri.

Chhabra allegedly created a major disturbance at the office during a dispute over the ownership of a vehicle. As per the case, she assaulted a female staff member and damaged office property such as a computer system.

The Amboli Police had registered a case against Chhabra under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) based on a complaint lodged by senior clerk Vrushali Kale. She has been charged under Sections 132, 122(2), 324(2), and 352, according to Mid Day.

The complaint, based on which the case was registered, says that Chhabra visited the RTO, claiming that her vehicle had been illegally transferred to a woman named Sneha Pandey. She claimed that she had not authorised any sale and demanded the vehicle be re-registered in her name. However, the office told her that the transfer had followed legal procedure and that all necessary documents had been submitted by the new owner. Hearing this, Chhabra lost her temper and started yelling. She refused to calm down and started vandalism, destroying a computer system, the complaint said.
