75 Kerala students evacuated from border states amid India-Pak conflict

Thiruvananthapuram: Amidst the ongoing military conflict between India and Pakistan, approximately 75 Keralite students, who were studying in universities located in border states, are on their way back home, according to the state government.

The students, enrolled in various central and state universities across Jammu, Rajasthan, Punjab, and other border areas, arrived at Kerala House in New Delhi late last night and early this morning, as confirmed by a statement from the Chief Minister's Office.

The students are scheduled to return to Kerala throughout the day and into Sunday, travelling via flights and trains, the statement added.

In response to the situation, a 24/7 control room has been established at Kerala House in New Delhi under the instructions of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The control room is intended to provide assistance and information to Keralite students and others currently in the border states. The control room can be reached at 011-23747079 for any support.
