KSrelief performs 40 cochlear implants for Gaza children in Jordan

Amman: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully conducted cochlear implant surgeries for 40 Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing humanitarian support for the Palestinian people.

The procedures were carried out by a volunteer medical team in Jordan under the Saudi Sama’a Volunteer Program, which focuses on cochlear implantation and hearing rehabilitation.

In addition to the surgeries, the program provided speech rehabilitation services and organized 16 educational sessions for the children’s families, reaching a total of 112 beneficiaries. A team of 18 volunteers from various medical specialties participated in the initiative, contributing their expertise to improve the lives of children affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to deliver vital healthcare and relief services to Palestinians through KSrelief, particularly amid the escalating challenges faced by families in the region.
