The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is set to host the second edition of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum at the King Salman International Convention Center in Madinah from April 14 to 16. Held under the theme “Enriching the Experience of Umrah Performers and Visitors,” the three-day global event aims to enhance pilgrimage services through innovation, collaboration and digital transformation.
Organized in collaboration with the Pilgrim Experience Program, the forum is a leading platform for the Umrah services sector, attracting decision-makers, entrepreneurs, service providers and innovators worldwide. It builds on the success of last year’s inaugural edition, with a renewed focus on establishing advanced standards in the delivery of pilgrimage-related services.
Over 150 organizations representing more than 100 countries will participate in this year's forum. Attendance is expected to surpass 25,000 visitors, including investors, sector leaders, non-profit organizations, and media representatives.
The event agenda includes specialized sessions addressing key components of the Umrah and Ziyarah ecosystem, workshops designed to connect decision-makers with industry experts, and an interactive exhibition showcasing technological solutions and innovative services. These initiatives aim to explore opportunities for sector development and highlight emerging solutions that improve the pilgrim experience and operational efficiency.
Key focal points of the forum include smart service enhancements through digital transformation, the implementation of healthcare initiatives to ensure the safety and well-being of pilgrims and discussions on modernizing transportation systems to accommodate the growing number of visitors.
