Riyadh: Fans now have a chance to own a car once driven by global football icon and Saudi club Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo. The BMW XM Label RED 2024 model, officially used by Ronaldo last season, has been put up for auction.

The sale is being conducted through an online auction on the website https://webook.com, open until September 9. Both Saudi nationals and foreigners above 18 years of age are eligible to participate.

To join the auction, bidders must deposit 10,000 riyals in advance as a security amount. This will be refunded in full if the bidder does not win. However, if the winning bidder fails to complete the payment, the deposit will be forfeited. The starting bid has been set at 724,500 riyals (approximately Rs 1.7 crore).

The winning bidder will also receive a nameplate officially signed by Cristiano Ronaldo along with the car. Winners will be notified via email or through the Webook.com platform. Full payment must be made within three working days through bank transfer, coordinated with BMW officials. Bank details will be provided after the auction concludes. Taxes, customs duties and shipping costs will be borne by the buyer.

Prospective bidders can inspect the car directly or through an authorized third party before participating. Both Webook.com and BMW clarified that they will not be responsible for any defects discovered after the sale is finalized.
