As the vibrant Navratri celebrations come to a close, Zepto, the quick commerce platform, reported impressive sales numbers for the festive season.

Co-founder and CEO Aadit Palicha shared on LinkedIn that the company sold over 1 lakh dandiya sticks during the nine-day festival.

Palicha expressed his gratitude, stating, "Closing out Navratri 2024 with a grateful heart, seeing the beauty of India's diversity through our users, sellers, brands, and every Zeptonian who made it all happen. From essentials to festive picks, thank you for making us part of India's celebrations."

In addition to the dandiya sticks, sales of fasting-friendly products like chips, Kattu, and Rajgira atta saw a significant increase compared to last year's Navratri season, reflecting a growing demand for traditional festive foods.

Zepto's dark stores also embraced the festive spirit across the country. In Coimbatore, Kochi, Chennai, and Bangalore, the stores celebrated Ayudha Puja, paying homage to tools and equipment. The Bhawanipore store in Kolkata embraced the essence of Durga Ashtami, while the Gota store in Ahmedabad hosted an energetic Garba event, keeping the festive mood alive.

Zepto's participation in the celebrations showcased the company's connection with diverse traditions and communities, further cementing its presence in India's festive market.
