The Tamil Nadu state Labour Commissioner on Monday warned industries, businesses, commercial establishments and government companies of action if they do not declare a paid holiday on Tuesday, enabling voters to cast their vote.

In the Assembly poll, which shall be conducted in a single phase on Tuesday, 6.26 crore voters are expected to exercise their right to vote.
