Actor Prithviraj tests positive for COVID-19

Prominent Mollywood actor and director Prithviraj Sukumaran tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday. The actor took to Instagram to inform his followers of the diagnosis.
The test results were received while on the sets of his upcoming movie 'Jana Gana Mana', the actor revealed. As the shoot was progressing according to COVID protocols, the entire crew was tested for the virus and his results turned out to be positive.
"…I have gone into isolation. I am asymptomatic and doing fine now. All primary and secondary contacts have been advised to isolate and get tested. Hoping to recover soon and get back to work ASAP. Cheers and thanks for the love and concern," Prithviraj wrote.
Prithviraj had earlier gone through a period of isolation and testing for COVID-19 following his return from the shooting of 'Aadujeevitham' in Jordan.
Several crew members from 'Jana Gana Mana' have also tested positive and shooting has been halted according to Manorama Online reports.
