The cast of Marvel's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever paid tribute to late actor Chadwick Boseman at the premiere.

The lead of the original movie died at the age of 43 after suffering from colon cancer for four years. He played King T'Challa, the titular character in the 2018 film Black Panther. Each member of the cast remembered him in their own ways at the premiere of the sequel.

Letitia Wright, who plays T'Challa's sister, Princess Shuri, wore an outfit that was modelled after Boseman's Black Panther suit. Film's director and co-writer Ryan Coogler wore a pendant with his picture. The opening single of the film, Rihanna 'Life Me Up' also paid homage to the late actor. It was released today. The song was written by Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems. Boseman's wife Taylor Simone Ledward also attended the screening wearing a white dress.
