John Abraham Productions announces debut Malayalam film

Bollywood actor John Abraham's production house will be venturing deeper into the regional film industry as it announced its first Malayalam movie project "Mike" on Thursday. Shooting for the film has already commenced.
The film is directed by Vishnu Sivaprasad and stars debutant Ranjith Sajeev and Anaswara Rajan, announced JA Entertainment on Twitter. The production house has also announced the start of 'Tara vs Bilal' which is helmed by Samar Iqbal, the makers have roped in Harshvardhan Rane, Sonia Rathee and others for the film.
Jinu Joseph, Akshay Radhakrishnan, Abhiram, and Sini Abraham will also be seen in 'Mike'. Shooting started in Mysore with the makers revealing that other locations like Kattappana, Vaikom and Dharamshala would also be featured. The film is a 'coming of age story' written by Ashiq Akbar Ali.
