Actor Sonakshi Sinha has publicly warned brands against using her photos without her consent.

Taking to Instagram Stories, she criticised companies featuring her images on their websites without permission.

Sonakshi, who frequently shops online, said she was shocked to see her own pictures on several brand platforms. “As someone who shops online often, I couldn't help but notice my images popping up on several brand websites, without usage rights or even a courtesy request for permission. How is that acceptable?” she wrote.

The actor explained that artists regularly tag and credit brands when wearing their outfits or jewellery, but the same courtesy is not being extended in return. “That's stretching it a bit too far. Let's keep things ethical, shall we?” she added.

Issuing a stern warning, she asked brands to take down her pictures immediately. “Basically what I'm saying is pull down my images before I start calling you out, or let me know where I can send my invoice... your call,” Sonakshi said.

The actress is known for speaking openly on issues, from body positivity to industry practices. Her latest remarks highlight the growing concern among celebrities about brands using their likeness without authorisation.

Sonakshi is not the first actor to raise this issue. Stars like Anushka Sharma and Amitabh Bachchan have also called out companies for using their photos without consent.
