Actress Trisha Krishnan took a stand against Mansoor Ali Khan's derogatory comments about her, expressing her condemnation and firm refusal to share screen space with him.

Krishnan and Mansoor Ali Khan were part of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s recent film, "Leo," where they held significant roles, earning acclaim for their performances.

However, a video surfaced on social media featuring Mansoor Ali Khan making inappropriate comments about Trisha Krishnan during an interview.

Responding to the video, Trisha Krishnan took to social media to voice her strong disapproval of Mansoor Ali Khan's remarks.

In her statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), she wrote: "A recent video has come to my notice where Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner. I strongly condemn this and find it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive, and in bad taste. He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind."

Mansoor Ali Khan’s comments in the interview expressed derogatory and sexist intentions regarding portraying a negative role opposite Trisha Krishnan and suggested inappropriate on-screen behaviour towards her.

His statements were widely criticised and faced backlash on social media platforms.

"Leo" marked the collaboration of Lokesh Kanagaraj and Thalapathy Vijay following their 2021 film "Master." The movie boasted an ensemble cast including Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mathew Thomas, Mysskin, and others.

Positioned as the third instalment in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) after "Kaithi" in 2019 and "Vikram" in 2022, the film was produced by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner of Seven Screen Studio.
