Kakinada: A woman police constable in Andhra Pradesh won widespread praise Saturday for directing traffic on the Kakinada-Samarlakota road while carrying her infant, ensuring an ambulance could pass through a jam caused by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's visit. Constable Amdla Jayashanti, returning from Rangampeta police station duty, stopped to manage the congestion without hesitation.

A video captured by a passerby asking Jayashanti about her actions went viral, with her calmly explaining, " I was returning from the Rangampeta police station after duty, just stopped here to direct the traffic." Netizens from Andhra Pradesh showered appreciation across platforms.

Users commented: "Excellent duty-minded lady.. she deserves an award on Jan 26th"; "She deserves appreciation"; "Really good attitude"; and "Great madam, good job." The incident highlighted her dedication amid personal challenges during the CM's visit traffic snarl.
