Hyderabad: A woman here allegedly killed her daughter on Wednesday after discovering her with boyfriend when nobody else was at home.
Police added that Jangamma strangulated her 19-year-old daughter Bhargavi at their home in Ibrahimpatna
Jangamma came home from work for lunch when she found Bhargavi with her boyfriend.
After sending out the boyfriend, she allegedly assaulted and strangulated her with a saree, NDTV reported citing the police.
The victim’s minor brother claimed to have witnessed the murder and complained against her, NDTV cited Ibrahimpatnam police officer Satyanarayana.
Police said that the boy had seen his mother assaulting his sister from a window.
Jangamma was planning to marry off Bhargavi and family was looking for matches, police said.
