India Gate will be home to a granite statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, announced Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.
Until the grand statue of Netaji Bose is built, a hologram statue of him will be on display at the same location.
Moreover, he said the hologram statue will be unveiled on January 23 in honor of Bose's 125th birthday.
Prime Minister Modi announced the news through a series of tweets.

"A hologram statue of Netaji Bose will be present at the same place until the grand statue is completed. I will unveil the hologram statue on 23rd January, Netaji's birthday," he said.
This statue will replace the statue of King George V that was removed in 1968.
