The Haj Committee of India opened the online registration process on July 7. The application form is available on the official website and the ‘Haj Suvidha’ mobile app for both iPhone and Android users.
The Ministry said, “The Haj Committee of India invites applications for Haj-2026 from intending pilgrims through the online Haj Application Form. The application window will be open from July 7, 2025, to July 31, 2025 (11.59 p.m.)".
Applicants must read the guidelines and undertakings before submission. A valid Indian international passport issued on or before July 31, 2025, and valid until at least December 31, 2026, is mandatory.
The Haj Committee has asked applicants to assess their readiness before applying.
“Cancellations, except in the unfortunate event of death or a grave medical emergency, will invite penalties and could lead to financial loss", it said.
In June, over 1.75 lakh Indian pilgrims performed Haj 2025.
The Indian Medical Mission provided ambulances and special buses to ensure all pilgrims, including those ill or hospitalised, reached Arafat on time.
India’s Consul General in Jeddah, Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, confirmed the safe arrival of Indian pilgrims. He said the Indian Haj Mission coordinated with Saudi authorities to ensure smooth logistics.
The Indian Haj Mission, the largest overseas operation managed by the government, has worked to make the pilgrimage transparent, safe and cost-effective.
