Hyderbad: An Indian student shot dead in US’s Chicago where he worked at a petrol pump on Friday. The deceased is identified as 22-year-old Sai Teja Nukarapu, hailing from Telangana’s Khammam district. Sai was shot by armed men while he was at the pump where he worked part-time, NDTV learned from BRS leader Madhusudan Thatha.
Thatha said that he visited Sai’s parents at their home. Sai's parents said that he was not on duty when the attack happened, but was helping a friend who requested him to stay on.
Sai had completed his graduation in India and went to the US to pursue an MBA.
Thatha informed that he has spoken with members of the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) requesting assistance in the matter.
