Jamaat-e-Islami backs anti-terror action, urges unity and restraint amid Operation Sindoor
text_fieldsPresident of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Syed Sadatullah Hussaini, has extended support to the armed forces and security agencies for their role in Operation Sindoor, even as he called upon all sections of society to resist communal polarisation and stand united in the national interest.
Stating that terrorism is a grave threat and a heinous crime against humanity, Hussaini emphasised that its complete eradication is necessary for ensuring the safety, security, and peace of the nation and its people.
He acknowledged that the action taken by the armed forces and security agencies is receiving broad support from citizens across religious and community lines, and he noted that the people of India stand in solidarity with their forces.
While expressing appreciation for the nationwide unity behind the anti-terror operation, he cautioned against attempts to exploit the situation to sow division or inflame communal tensions, and he stressed that such actions are detrimental to the country’s interests and must be firmly rejected.
He urged all political, social, and religious groups to act with responsibility, and he appealed to them to safeguard communal harmony, mutual respect, and national unity.
