New Delhi: The death of renowned Bollywood singer KK was out of the cardiac arrest, the initial findings of his postmortem report revealed. The police also informed that there was no foul play in the celebrity's death, NDTV reported.

NDTV quoted a police officer, "The initial report suggested that the singer died because of myocardial infarction. There was no foul play behind his death. Clinical examination also found that the singer was having prolonged cardiac issues."

The final autopsy is to be out after 72 hours.

KK, the singer of Kerala origin, was known for his songs such as 'Pal' and 'Yaaron'. Both had ended up massive hits among teens in the late 1990s. The singer's abrupt death at a concert in Kolkata has raised doubts among many.

According to the staff of Nazrul Manch auditorium in South Kolkata, where the concert was running, the venue was overcrowded. But some claimed on social media that AC at the hall was not running during the show, and the temperature rose to unbearable levels.
