Congress MP Rahul Gandhi calls day one of the winter session as Sunrise for farmers in his tweet, pointing to the strong opposition towards the anti farmer's approach and the bill. Mr. Ghandi expressed his strong contention towards the center led by Bjp.

The opposition seems to raise the issues including Pegasus spyware row and price rise, apart from the bill to cancel the farm laws in this parliamentary session.

Before stepping inside the parliament, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi took a moment to stand in front of the Gandhi statue and shouted slogans against the Centre.

Congress leaders carried a massive banner with a slogan written over it "We demand repeal of black laws,"

Earlier this month, Prime minister Narendra Modi declared that the Centre is withdrawing the Farmers bill. The Centre decided to withdraw the bill only after one year of protest led by farmers from Punjab and Hariyana.

Narendra Modi-led BJP government is heavily criticized by the opposition and farmer leaders for the delay in decision. The central government was forced to withdraw the controversial farm bills in the context of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections as a considerable number of farmers from UP is actively part of the farmer's protest.
