The Rajasthan government on Saturday slashed the rate for RT-PCR diagnostic test for Covid-19 conducted by private laboratories to Rs 350. Earlier, it was fixed at Rs 500 per test.
"The new rate for RT-PCR diagnostic tests for Covid-19 infections has been fixed at Rs 350 with immediate effect," reads the order issued by the state Health Secretary Siddharth Mahajan. The decision was made following a high-level meeting chaired by CM Ashok Gehlot.
9,046 cases were reported in the state on Saturday.
