Shahjahanpur: In Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur, a shocking incident of animal cruelty happened where a group of men pulled a bull tied to a tractor to its death. A video of the horrendous incident went viral on social media, NDTV reported.
Footage of the incident, which happened in the BJP-ruled state, portrayed horrifying visuals of the bull getting dragged to death as the rope around its neck tightened.
The bull, which was totally helpless, could be seen trying to free itself from ropes tied around its body and even fell to the ground. However, it collapsed and died in the end.
Social media witnessed severe outrage from netizens over the incident, and they called for strict action against those involved in the cruelty.
As per the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals Act, any act of cruelty against animals is a punishable offence.
