TRP Scam: Republic employees granted anticipatory bail

Three Republic TV employees who were chargesheeted along with Arnab Goswami have been granted anticipatory bail by a sessions court in Mumbai. Chief financial officer Siva Subramaniam, Shivendra Mundherkar, and Rankit Walter were granted anticipatory bail on conditions of cooperating with the investigation and not leaving the country without prior permission of court by Additional Sessions Judge Abhishri Deo on Wednesday, reports LiveLaw.

The three have been charged with criminal breach of trust, cheating, forgery, conspiracy, non-cooperation during the investigation, destruction of evidence and harbouring offenders. The three claimed that the investigation against them is complete as the case is mostly based on documentary evidence.
