Hyderabad: A video has sparked row over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Sunday rally at Secunderabad’s Parade Grounds, showing about 20 Uttar Pradesh Muslims claiming Rs 300 payments to attend the BJP event.

Staying in Nacharam, the group joined the meeting where Modi rallied Telangana BJP workers, predicting state power soon amid public fatigue with Congress and BRS “dynastic” failures. He cited the party’s fresh West Bengal CM oath as boosting local spirits.

Instagram footage from Shama News captured burqa-clad women from the group, who directed the reporter to leader Raushan. He confirmed each member got Rs 300 to attend. Queried on the meagre sum, Raushan shrugged: “They asked us to come, so we came. I don’t know much about it.”
