Adani Skills & Education launches work-study diploma program Karma Shiksha
text_fieldsAhmedabad: Adani Skills & Education (ASE), the skill development arm of the Adani Group, has launched Karma Shiksha, a work-study diploma program under the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
The two-year program, aimed at Class 10 and 12 graduates from all streams as well as ITI diploma holders, combines classroom education with industry-integrated training. It offers specializations in Ports Management and Logistics Management, with exposure across core Adani sectors such as ports, power, solar manufacturing, green energy, and logistics.
"With Karma Shiksha, we are taking a transformative step to provide them not just with education, but with practical skills that open pathways to opportunity. This initiative embodies our philosophy of Hum Karke Dikhate Hai -- turning intent into action, vision into reality -- and empowering a new generation to meaningfully contribute to the creation of a Viksit Bharat” said Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group.
Selection will be based on a national-level merit process, with students receiving a stipend to support their education. The program also provides pathways to higher studies, including lateral entry into degree courses, while following an earn-while-you-learn model to ensure financial independence.
ASE said the diploma is nationally recognized and designed to equip students with job-ready skills, ensuring direct employability and opportunities for long-term careers.
Describing the initiative as more than just a diploma, ASE CEO Robin Bhowmik said Karma Shiksha is “a gateway to opportunity”, ensuring every skill leads to employment and every learner contributes to India’s growth story.
The launch reflects ASE’s commitment to skill-building and employability by aligning with NCVET and industry partners to create a scalable model of vocational training integrated with workplace learning.
