Priyanka Gandhi Vadra opted to isolate as one of her family and staff tested positive for Covid 19 on Sunday.
Further her official Twitter handle stated as follows
A member of my family and one of my staff have tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. I have tested negative today however the doctor has advised that I remain isolated and test again after a few days.
India is suffering from an extreme setback of the virus with 33,750 fresh cases and 123 deaths in a day. Apart from this Omicron recorded a rapid increase in 23 states of India.
