Cairo: A video showed Egyptians throwing food and water into the sea in bottles and floating containers to reach Gazans to. It is not certain whether they will reach Gaza, but thousands are continuing the act in the hope that they will wash ashore in Gaza.

Gaza's treatment centres are filled with children dying from malnutrition. There is no food or medicine to give them there either. A quarter of the children’s population in Gaza is malnourished, according to a report by the charity Doctors Without Borders. A child died of starvation on Friday, bringing the total number of deaths from hunger to 122. In the past 24 hours, 62 more Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks.

Meanwhile, in Bahrain, the Bahrain Society held a novel protest against Israeli barbarism in Gaza by denying the Palestinians food supplies.

Hundreds of thousands of people gathered in the square in front of the society's Adliya headquarters, holding up pots and pans used for cooking food and covering their mouths. The protesters spent a long time in their demonstrations there, expressing their solidarity with Palestine by clashing cooking utensils and not speaking. Their demonstration raised the theme that Gaza is being starved to death.

In India, prominent Muslim bodies and Islamic scholars in India appealed on Friday to the Centre to stand against injustice and take swift action to ensure that the "continued Israeli aggression" in Gaza ends, asserting that India has historically aligned itself with the oppressed and it is time to reaffirm that legacy, PTI reported.

In a joint statement, prominent Muslim organisations and Islamic scholars called on both the Indian government and global powers to intervene and stop the "continuing atrocities" in Gaza.

"We, the undersigned leaders of Muslim organisations in India, Islamic scholars and peace-loving citizens, strongly condemn the deepening genocide and humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in Gaza. On behalf of over 200 million Indian Muslims and all peace-loving citizens of our beloved country, we express our unwavering support and solidarity with the people of Palestine," the statement said.
