Tehran: As tensions between Iran and Israel continue to escalate, the head of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Brigadier General Mohammad Kasemi, and his deputy, General Hassan Mohaqiq, were killed in an Israeli strike. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the news.

Iran continued raining missiles in northern Israel. A missile attack on the Israeli port city of Haifa injured 15 people. The attacks were reported to have occurred in three locations.

After attacking the nuclear and military sites in Iran, Israel also struck the police headquarters in Tehran. Israel attacked more than 80 sites in Tehran overnight. The Israeli military claimed to have attacked the headquarters of the Iranian Ministry of Defense and the headquarters of the nuclear program (SPND).

Iran, which initially retaliated against the Israeli attack that killed military commanders and nuclear scientists, launched a heavy counterattack. Iran's hypersonic and ballistic missiles penetrated air defence systems and hit Israel. On Sunday alone, 11 people were killed in the Iranian attack in Israel. About 250 people were injured. With this, the number of people killed in the Iranian attack in Israel has increased to 14, and the number of injured has increased to more than 380. Four Israeli citizens were injured in the attack in the port city of Haifa.

An Iranian missile hit a building in Bat Yam, near Tel Aviv, killing seven people. Israeli police said about 180 people were injured, and four were missing. Four people were killed in a missile attack in Tamra in northern Israel. Twenty-four people were injured. Forty-two people were injured in an Iranian attack in Rehovot in central Israel. About 60 buildings in Israel were damaged in Sunday's attacks.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who visited the sites of the attack in Bat Yam, warned that Iran would pay a heavy price if the attacks continued. Israel has ordered people in central and northern Israel to evacuate to safer places following the intensification of Iranian attacks. Britain has advised its citizens to avoid travel to Israel.
