LuLu Exchange, LuLu Money sign regional sponsorship deal with Argentine Football Association

LuLu Exchange, a leading cross-border payments provider in Oman, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar, and LuLu Money, its flagship remittance app, have signed a regional sponsorship agreement with the Argentine Football Association (AFA). The partnership aligns their brand with the reigning world champions ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The deal was formalized at an event in Dubai, attended by AFA officials, including Argentina's national coach Lionel Scaloni, alongside senior leadership from LuLu Financial Holdings. The partnership will span the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and India, with different arms of the LuLuFin group assuming regional sponsorship responsibilities across ten countries.
Under the agreement, LuLu Exchange and LuLu Money will serve as the AFA's fintech sponsors in the Gulf region, while LuLu Forex and LuLu Finserv will represent the brand in India. The partnership also extends to Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines through LuLu Money.

AFA President Claudio Tapia welcomed the agreement, noting its cultural relevance.
“We are delighted to have the LuLuFin family as new regional sponsor of the Argentine Football Association for the Middle East, APAC, and India”, he said.
Leandro Petersen, AFA’s Commercial and Marketing Director, described the sponsorship as a step forward in strengthening the association’s presence in key markets.
"Since we arrived in the Middle East and India, we have seen strong support for the Argentine National Team. We are pleased that LuLu Financial Holdings has chosen the Argentine Champions as its brand image for this renewed World Cup period".
The agreement runs through mid-2026 and will coincide with a series of customer campaigns and fan engagement initiatives across LuLu Financial Holdings' 380+ centers.
The deal supports the AFA’s broader efforts to expand its global reach and deepen ties with international communities.
