Panasonic, OMASCO celebrate 50 years, launch energy-saving AC in Oman
text_fieldsPanasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa FZE (PMMAF) and Oman Marketing and Services Company LLC (OMASCO) marked their 50-year partnership with the launch of Panasonic’s new EU-Series air conditioners in Oman. The exclusive event took place at the Sheraton Oman Hotel in Muscat.
The EU-Series, developed for arid regions such as Oman, combines advanced cooling performance with energy efficiency and durability. The units actively reduce bacteria, viruses, allergens and odours with Panasonic’s nanoe™ X air purification system, creating healthier indoor environments. The series also features Adaptive Inverter Technology for stable temperatures with reduced power consumption, along with Jet Stream Technology for uniform and far-reaching airflow.
Designed for Oman’s extreme climate, the EU-Series includes Shield Blue and ecoTOUGH™ protective coatings to guard against corrosion and operates in temperatures up to 55°C. The use of R32 refrigerant further supports Panasonic’s environmental sustainability goals. Customers can also benefit from the Coverti7 feature, which allows seven levels of cooling adjustment for different room sizes and comfort preferences.
Hiroyuki Shibutani, CEO of PMMAF, said, “for five decades, OMASCO and Panasonic have shared a commitment to bringing world-class technology to Omani customers. The EU-Series is designed to meet the Sultanate’s unique demands with durability, efficiency and healthier air".
OMASCO’s Assistant General Manager, Navin Batta, emphasized the strength of the long-standing partnership, announcing a 10-year warranty on all Panasonic AC models.
“This milestone not only demonstrates the durability of Panasonic technology but also reinforces our promise of long-term value and peace of mind for customers in Oman”, he said.
The EU-Series will be launched across Oman from late September to early October 2025, with expansion into other GCC markets planned in the following months.
