A special awareness exhibition has opened in the third Saudi expansion area of the Grand Mosque, offering pilgrims a rare glimpse into the rich heritage of the Holy Qur’an.

Organised by the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, the exhibition aims to enhance spiritual awareness and promote the values of tolerance, moderation and balance rooted in the Qur’anic message.

Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, head of the presidency, stated that the initiative reflects the Kingdom’s continued efforts to serve the holy book and disseminate its teachings globally.

Visitors can explore a collection of ancient Qur’anic manuscripts, some over a millennium old, including handwritten copies, wooden panels inscribed with verses, and other historical artefacts.

With millions of pilgrims expected during the Umrah and Hajj seasons, the exhibition offers a unique educational and spiritual experience at one of Islam’s holiest sites.
