Hajj 2025: Pilgrims’ satisfaction with Makkah healthcare hits 97.7%
text_fieldsPilgrims who performed Hajj this year reported a 97.7 per cent satisfaction rate with the healthcare services provided at Makkah Health Cluster facilities, according to data from the Hajj Satisfaction Assessment Platform.
The Makkah Health Cluster attributed this achievement to several service enhancements and the integration of digital technologies. Pilgrim feedback was collected through QR code-linked surveys and handheld tablets managed by scouts and patient experience teams. The survey, available in eight languages, ensured accessibility for all nationalities.
Officials highlighted that the satisfaction score reflects the success of the cluster’s strategic initiatives, particularly those led by the Executive Management of Patient Experience. Key improvements included redesigning the Hajj medical journey map to streamline procedures, cut wait times and provide clarity to patients through step-by-step information cards—from initial entry to discharge.
Additionally, artificial intelligence and digital health tools were employed to boost responsiveness and service efficiency across inpatient and emergency departments.
The Makkah Health Cluster succeeded in delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare in alignment with global standards of excellence and the Kingdom’s broader goals for Hajj services.
