The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has launched Arabic Language Month in India, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The program will run in New Delhi and Kerala until July 26, aiming at developing Arabic language education curricula, improving teachers’ performance, building a positive image and promoting the language.

The initiative will also highlight Saudi Arabia’s efforts in the field, aligning with the Human Capability Development Program, part of Saudi Vision 2030.

Secretary-General Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi said the academy undertook various initiatives under the directives of Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Saudi minister of culture, to advance the Arabic language locally and globally.

This program aims to teach Arabic to non-native speakers, showcase the Kingdom’s efforts to spread Arabic language and sciences worldwide and directly train teachers to raise their competency.
