The Al-Mithnab branch of Qassim Municipality successfully executed a heavy rainfall and flash flood simulation. The drill tested the region’s disaster preparedness.

The emergency rainfall plan was activated. Forty field personnel were mobilized. A fleet of 12 vehicles and machinery was deployed under the Emergency and Disaster Management Plan.

The drill assessed critical infrastructure readiness. Teams inspected rainwater drainage networks, pumps, and generators. They mapped potential rainwater accumulation sites across the governorate’s streets.

The simulation measured response time, coordination efficiency and overall preparedness for extreme weather events.
