The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has called on all visitors to the Grand Mosque to strictly observe health precautionary measures to ensure their safety and the well-being of fellow worshippers.

The authority stressed the importance of wearing masks, regularly using hand sanitizers, washing hands with soap and water, avoiding the sharing of personal items and staying hydrated to prevent health complications during their visit.

Worshippers have also been advised to avoid overcrowding while entering and exiting the mosque, report any symptoms to the nearest health center without delay, and dispose of waste only in designated areas to help preserve the sanctity and cleanliness of the mosque premises.

The authority confirmed that medical support is available 24/7 through three emergency centers operated by the Makkah Health Cluster inside the mosque. These efforts underscore the Saudi leadership’s commitment to providing a safe and seamless environment for pilgrims and visitors, ensuring they can perform their religious rituals with comfort and peace of mind.
