Dubai’s Salik toll system will expand this month with the introduction of two new gates on Sunday, November 24, Salik PJSC confirmed. The new toll points – positioned at the Business Bay Crossing on Al Khail Road and Al Safa South on Sheikh Zayed Road between Al Meydan Street and Umm Al Sheif Street – bring the total number of Salik gates in the emirate to ten.

The Business Bay Crossing serves as a vital route for motorists commuting from key areas such as Sharjah, Al Nahda and Al Qusais. This connection to Al Khail Road, one of Dubai's most heavily trafficked thoroughfares, sees a high volume of vehicles each day. The new toll gate at this location is expected to streamline traffic flows while potentially easing congestion by incentivizing alternate routes.

These additions come as part of Dubai’s continued efforts to manage road use efficiently and reduce congestion on key arteries. Positioned on two major roads, the Business Bay and Al Safa toll gates are set to impact daily commutes, marking another step in Dubai’s transportation management strategy.
