Dubai: Major General Saif Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, has ordered the cancellation of all traffic violations that occurred during the unprecedented rainfall that was experienced over the past week.

The rainfall is described as the highest in 75 years, leading to exceptional circumstances across the emirate.

The decision to cancel traffic violations comes as a response to the challenges faced by residents and drivers during the recent unstable weather. Major General Saif Zari Al Shamsi acknowledges the impact of the exceptional circumstances and seeks to alleviate any additional burdens on the community.
