Sharjah Police launches vehicle theft prevention campaign

Sharjah: Sharjah Police initiated an awareness drive called "Your collections, your responsibility" to combat vehicle theft.

The campaign, launched on Facebook yesterday, urges citizens to secure valuables, avoid isolated parking spots and install vehicle alarms. It emphasizes cooperation with security authorities and warns against sharing personal or banking details with unknown sources.

This initiative follows the 2023 warning to online car sellers about scammers depositing fake cheques. The campaign runs until month-end.
