Sharjah’s Ruler, Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, has approved a plan to build and replace 100 mosques across the city. Announced on Monday, the ambitious project aims to enhance the city's infrastructure by either constructing new mosques or replacing older ones.

The initiative involves a total investment of Dh800 million. Out of the 100 mosques, 40 will be replaced with modern structures, while 60 brand new mosques will be built in different areas of Sharjah. This project aligns with the city's goal to meet the growing religious and community needs.
