UAE-Qatar rulers meet in Doha to discuss bilateral ties, Iran-Israel ceasefire

The leaders reviewed cooperation between the two Gulf states and explored ways to strengthen ties in political, economic and security spheres. The UAE President’s fraternal visit, welcomed at Hamad International Airport by Sheikh Tamim, highlighted the deep-rooted relations between Abu Dhabi and Doha and their shared vision for Gulf unity.
Discussions focused on the latest regional developments, particularly the recent ceasefire between Iran and Israel. Sheikh Mohamed praised Sheikh Tamim’s diplomatic efforts in facilitating the agreement, calling for continued international coordination to safeguard regional stability.
The two sides also exchanged perspectives on broader Middle East dynamics and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to promote peace and prosperity across the region.
The meeting was attended by a high-level UAE delegation, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai and Minister of Defence; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon, Advisor to the UAE President and several ministers and senior officials.
