The developments which the Middle East is going through after the Operation Hurricane Al-Aqsa. declared by the Islamic resistance group Hamas in Gaza that started on 7 October, 2023, the outbreak of fighting between the Hezbollah group and Israel, the hypersonic missile attacks conducted by the Houthi rebels to support the Gaza people, and finally the severe attacks conducted by Iran as a response to the assaults of Israel against it on June 13, and the subsequent ceasefire after 12 days of war between two countries, all underline a fact that the era of supremacy of Israel has started taking a beating!
After seven decades of powerful influence and unquestioned superiority in military terms in the Middle East, the Jewish entity is facing for the first time in its long history an unexpected situation even though it is supported by the global power United States and its allies in the west. The Zionist country, the adopted son of the west, currently is going through a critical situation that can be depicted as existential crisis and now onward those living in Israel will never be able to live there with the same peace and ease as they are accustomed to for the last seven decades.
There is a popular Arabic proverb, “the water will expose the diver”, that a liar who boasts of swimming skills will be exposed when truly tested. As per the proverb, true challenges reveal reality, and expose lies, leaving the fraudsters to face the consequences of their own deception.
A country that was known as an army that is 'invincible' became vulnerable at the face of the Iranian response and its defence systems turned to means of exhausting its financial resources and looked ashamed before the international community. This situation led to confusion being created in the minds of people about the real powers of this entity and its capability to counter the threats coming from the region.
A real test exposed many secrets and lies. A country that was known, and proclaimed by it and by its masters as ‘the force that can’t be questioned’ for all sorts of its illegal activities and assaults on its neighbors, was forced to request its godfather, the United States, to enter into a ceasefire with Iran in order to save it from the sure defeat coming! The 12 days of war between Iran and Israel exposed the fragility and weakness of this country which as reports suggested had spent $ 200 million per day to counter Iranian drones and missiles. Its much-vaunted defence systems like the Iron Dome, Davids Sling, Arrow 3 and Arrow 2 became international joke for social media viewers and vloggers.
According to reports of experts, the "David's Sling" system - designed to intercept short- and medium-range missiles - costs approximately $700,000 per activation, and the "Arrow 3" another system used to intercept long-range ballistic missiles, costs about $4 million per interception. As for the older version of “Arrow 2," each interception costs roughly $3 million! And the cost of a single Iron Dome interceptor missile ranges between $40,000 and $50,000!
The coming days and weeks will be critical for the Zionist regime, because the regional countries that are not ready to bow to the western masters like Iran, Turkiye, Algeria and other rising countries in Africa like Burkina Faso will never accept the supremacy of Israel and the United States.
Another notable fact is that, the United States, the arch supporter of Israel, failed to cripple Iran and destroy the nuclear capabilities of Iran in its surprise strike on Iranian nuclear facilities using the B-2 Spirit bombers and other aircraft on June 21, 2025.
In short, the war of 12 days and the setback of Israel underline the fact that this country and its ally can only kill unarmed innocent people of the world as it happened in Iraq, Afghanistan and like what is going on in Gaza and in Lebanon, and will be unable to face powerful adversaries that are not ready to be their puppet, possess their own defence system and produces its own weapons like Iran, Turkiye, Russia and China.
