Woman allegedly refuses AC service because technician is Muslim
text_fieldsSocial media: A video has surfaced on social media, apparently shot by a Muslim man who is an AC technician, where he alleges that one of his clients has asked him to leave her house after knowing that his faith is Islam.
The video shows a woman standing at her door and asking to leave the man who is taking the video. She could also be heard demanding him to stop filming.
The video has gone viral on social media, but the location where it was shot or the identities of the people in it are unclear. The man in the video accuses the woman of allegedly saying that Muslims ruined India.
He alleges that the woman refused his service after knowing his name.
According to him, after knowing his name, she immediately asked him to leave and threatened to unleash her dog if he did not.
“Leave from here. Don’t make the video. If you do, you will face consequences,” the woman could be heard saying in the video.
The technician could be heard replying, “We will report this at your office to have this done by a Hindu. Isn’t that what you said?”
In the video, the technician could be heard saying how he came for the AC service to the client in scorching heat and got refused just because he is a Muslim.
In yet another hateful incident, a young AC technician was insulted and asked to leave by his client after he revealed his religious identity.

Siasat reports a similar incident in Delhi where a BJP leader refused the services of two Muslim AC technicians who worked for UrbanClap.
The leader told the two men that he didn’t want their services. He asked them to send a Hindu technician.
Since the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, where 26 people were killed by terrorists, there has been a severe increase in anti-Muslim hate.
During the terror attack, terrorists asked the name of the victims before they were shot to death, to know if they were non-Muslims. Some of them were told to recite the ‘Kalima’, the Muslim prayer or declaration of faith in Islam.
The Association of Protection of Civil Rights has reported recently that 184 hate crime cases have been reported across the country, from April 22 to May 8.
