Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr drawn with FC Goa in AFC Champions League Two
text_fieldsNew Delhi: Cristiano Ronaldo may well play his first professional match against an Indian club if he stay fit, Hindustan Times reported.
The possibility of the football legend playing against an Indian club comes after his Al Nassr have been drawn with India's FC Goa two other teams from Iraq (Alzawra'a) and Tajikistan (FC Istiklol), in Group D of the AFC Champions League Two on Friday.
It is however reported that Ronaldo’s chance to play in India is still slim as it relies on his contract, which is said to have clause ‘restricting his travel for away fixtures in the tournament’.
Despite this, he will feature in the home match against FC Goa taking place in Riyadh with both teams facing each other twice.
It will take place as part of the home and away format used in the group stage.
The clash against Al Nassr to FC Goa is going to be among the most high-profile games in the club's history since it was founded in 2014.
