PhonePe rolls out ‘offline partner program’ to boost merchant network

New Delhi: PhonePe on Thursday announced the launch of its ‘offline partner program’, a new initiative aimed at strengthening India’s merchant ecosystem by working with service providers. The scheme offers customized referral commissions to partners who help merchants adopt PhonePe’s integrated payment solutions.

The program is open to providers of Point of Sale (POS) billing software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, vending machines and self-service kiosks. These partners can refer PhonePe’s solutions to their clients and earn commissions for successful referrals.

By joining the program, partners can present a complete billing and payments solution to merchants, helping them simplify payment management and improve store operations. The arrangement is also expected to enhance the credibility of service providers as trusted business allies.

Merchants can activate PhonePe’s integrated solutions within hours alongside their billing software, providing customers with a seamless payment experience. The suite includes integrated POS devices, dynamic QR codes that generate a unique code for each transaction, and payment links for SMS-based collections. These features aim to enable error-free and secure transactions, as well as easier reconciliation and validation.

The solutions are designed for a wide range of businesses, including pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, apparel stores and electronics outlets.

Interested service providers can register through the offline partner program page or email offlinepartner-support@phonepe.com. After registration, a PhonePe representative will assist with onboarding.

PhonePe said the program allows partners to earn commissions while helping merchants adopt digital payment systems more effectively.
