Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman imposed entry prohibitions to the new job visa holders, notifies the Royal Oman Police (ROP). The entry of the expatriates is presently limited to only residents with valid resident cards.
The latest decision is taken after the instructions from the supreme committee on COVID-19, reports Oman Observer, by quoting a senior official from the ROP. The entry restrictions will hold on until further notice. The new regulation is bound to all expats employed under any job sector.
The current decree is in line with the Covid-19 precautionary measures. The travel ban measures directed on the newly- issued visa holders by Air India and Indigo airline services were reported in the Gulf Madhyamam, a few days ago.
