Rishi Sunak and Suella Braverman told to "go away" in Essex

Essex: UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Home Secretary Suella Braverman were faced with a heckler during their visit to Essex. The duo was walking down the road while talking to security officers when a man yelled "go away" at them.

The protest was against the government's tightened laws against migrants entering the country in small boats. A video shared on Twitter showed that the man was yelling, "Allow migrants into this country. Go away, we don't want you here."

The Illegal Migration Bill is aimed at ending migrants crossing the English Channel. It is returning to the House of Commons for two days of debate. The Bill is facing objections from both the liberal and the right wings of the Conservative Party, reported Sky News.

Sunak said he is confident that the bill is "robust and effective" following the UK's commitments under international law. "The home secretary and I have worked incredibly closely for the last two months to get the legislation exactly right. This is a tough piece of legislation, the likes of which we haven't seen. It's important that it is effective, which it will be. It is also important that we abide by our international obligations. This is a country and government that does follow the law."

Both politicians did not pay attention to the man on the sidewalk and continued their conversation with the police officers and walked away. Sunak was then taken to the Chelmsford Boxing Club where he discussed the plan for anti-social behaviour.
