Cecilia Marogna arrested, is a native to the Italian island of Sardinia. Italian police arrested her in Milan due to an arrest warrant from the Vatican.
Authorities haven't released many details. Cardinal Angelo Becciu was fired weeks ago due to the corruption probe. The allegation is that Angelo Basui who's a one time No. 2 in the Vatican secretariat of state, diverted millions of euros for transactions on real estate in London. Italian media also reported that tens of thousands of euros have been exchanged to Cecilias consultation firm, purportedly for humanitarian operations in Asia and Africa.
